House Rules and Policy
General Guest Policy
At Mrs. T’s Bed and Breakfast, we prioritise the needs and safety of our guests above all else. While we make every effort to accommodate special requests and provide a welcoming environment, we reserve the right to make final decisions regarding bookings and policies. In rare circumstances, reservations may be cancelled if necessary to uphold our standards or ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.

Children: We welcome children aged ten and older in consideration of other guests, unless the whole house is rented.

Pets: No pets allowed. Certified service animals excepted.

No Smoking or Parties: Smoking, excessive alcohol use, excessive noise, and parties are strictly prohibited on the premises, including the front and back porches.

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please use headphones for TV and keep the volume low.
Whole House Rental
Mrs. T’s Bed and Breakfast is available for whole house rental. During this time, the owners will be off-site but will be available in case of emergencies or concerns. Guests of all ages are welcome with a whole house rental.

Back-attic room with two smaller beds and a playroom.

Attic rooms are air-conditioned and meet fire safety requirements with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors on each floor.

Two cots, a crib, and a change table are available on request.

Assortment of balls, backyard, and beach toys.

Spacious backyard ideal for children.

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-In Time: After 3:00 PM.

Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM.

Early/Late Arrivals: Please no early departures (before 8:00 AM) or late arrivals (after 10:00 PM). If returning from an evening out past 10:00 PM, please inform Mrs. T. Doors are locked after 10:00 PM.
House Rules

Noise Levels: Please avoid excessive noise at all times to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests. Close all doors, including bathroom, bedroom, and house doors, quietly to prevent disturbances.

Lighting:

Turn off all lights in your guest room when it is not occupied.

Turn off the second-floor hall light at night. A light will remain on at the bottom of the stairs, and a nightlight will be left in the first-floor bathroom.

Electrical Use: To prevent electrical overloads, do not operate high-powered devices such as hairdryers when the kettle, coffee maker, or room space heater is running.

Security:

The house is open during the day. Use your key to lock your bedroom when leaving.

The basement is a private area for owners and is not accessible to guests.

Dining and Amenities

Breakfast: Served at 8:30 AM in the dining room. Coffee and tea are available in the front room at 8:00 AM.

Please be prompt for breakfast. Mrs. T. ensures it is ready on time and may ring a bell to signal.

Inform Mrs. T. of any dietary restrictions in advance.

Outdoor Spaces: Guests are welcome to use the front porch, back porch (accessible by Beatty Suite guests if a bedroom is unoccupied), and other outdoor areas.

Guest Binder: Contains safety information, TV and internet instructions, and local dining and sightseeing recommendations.
Booking Requirements and Airbnb Accounts

Mrs. T’s BnB is listed on Airbnb.ca (Parry Sound).

Booking Requirement: All bookings and communication with hosts must be made through Airbnb for safety, ease of use, and insurance purposes. All guests are required to have an Airbnb account to book a room at Mrs. T’s BnB.
Cancellations

Mrs. T’s Bed and Breakfast reserves the right to cancel bookings at any time for any reason.

Bookings not cancelled at least 48 hours in advance may not be refunded. Refund decisions will be at the sole discretion of Mrs. T’s Bed and Breakfast.

Accessibility: The house is not wheelchair accessible, and all bedrooms are located on the second floor.

Parking: Parking is available with one car per room booking.
